Ecotherapy is a modern day therapeutic modality rooted in ancient/indigenous belief and practice, and the healing powers of nature. We explore our relationship with the earth, as a resource. Recognizing our interconnectedness to all of life, to the natural world. We are helping to restore the balance on this planet. Nourishing her, we nourish ourselves, we nourish our relationships, we nourish all our relations, we nourish her, and the cycle continues.
Connecting with the rocks, the trees, the elements, water, helps us to understand the world we live in. This awareness assists us in feeling part of the whole, recognizing our place in it.
When we find ways to honor our connection to the earth, our bodies find peace.
We are a direct reflection of the earth. During this great transition we are all in, its no wonder that we so often feel out of balance, or lose our grounding. Reconnecting to the source and remembering that connection is a way to feel held, to help us be with and move through the struggle and discomfort of this time, to recognize that what we are going through is not just about us, and hopefully with that understanding, we feel less alone.
Sessions may take place in the office or out in nature, on the Big Island of Hawai'i or in the Oakland Hills.
